IAM KL Returns, Bigger This Year!

IAM KL & MIME 2025: Southeast Asia’s Premier Car Tuning & Lifestyle Showcase Lands in Malaysia This August
We attended the IAM’s Press Conference event at the Setia City Ballroom in Setia City Convention Centre. A lot of media partners, sponsors, collaborating partners & followers of the event were present as well. The Press Conference was to announce the “green light” and a bit of preview of what’s to come at the upcoming IAM KL event, next month.
The world-renowned IAM (International Auto Modified) show is revving up for another exciting return in Malaysia as it joins forces with the Malaysia International Motor Expo (MIME). Last year, it was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in KLCC, with only one indoor hall, but they’re going bigger this year. Set to take place from 16 – 17 August 2025 at the Setia City Convention Centre, this automotive extravaganza is primed to become a landmark celebration of car culture, innovation, and lifestyle.
Since 2001, IAM has toured over 38 cities across Indonesia, and has rapidly expanded to become a fixture in Singapore, Thailand, and now Malaysia. With its signature mix of global car tuning excellence, lifestyle events, and competitive showcases, IAM is a must-attend for enthusiasts and industry players alike.
So, what are we expecting to see what IAM has in store for us this year? They are expecting to have more than 100 vehicles, displaying the latest trends in car tuning, styling, and modifications. Show vehicles in all kinds & form, from leading builders and private enthusiasts will also be showcasing in the hall. The MIME expo, spotlighting automotive technology, products, and innovation and a vibrant gathering of VIP guests, tuning communities, loyal fans, and international participants.
Other exciting featured program that will be hosted throughout the two-days event are; the International Diecast Show, Live Stage Performances, Auto-fashion Show, a Star Wars Fan Club Appearances & Cosplay Show, International VIP Appearances, and the continuation from previous years & events; the “Miss IAM” Modelling Pageant. We might be seeing the famous "born in Malaysia", international DJ, Leng Yein making an appearance!
And that’s only from the indoor event. Outside of the large Convention Hall, Drift Exhibitions and Dyno Competitions, Go-Kart Challenges and a Drivers' Meet & Car Club Parades will be commencing. We can say that this time, the IAM event is nothing short of exciting & exhilarating activities, inside and outside.
IAM KL x MIME 2025 is more than a car show—it's a full-blown automotive lifestyle festival. Whether you're a die-hard gearhead, a casual fan, or an industry professional, this is the place to witness the future of automotive culture in Southeast Asia.
Pre-sale tickets to IAMKL 2025 will be priced at RM25 per head, and the tickets are available online via http://t2u.asia/e/34477. Tickets are also available on-site at the ticketing counter during the show days, and priced at RM35. For children under the age of 10, entries are free, however they must be accompanied or supervised by at least 1 adult.
